“Invitations
of Wisdom and of Folly”
Well
I will choose Wisdom over folly any day of the week.
Wisdom is freely given and it feeds the soul and you shall not be thirsty
because Wisdom gives you drink that quenches, but as for folly it is not given
without price yet it says it is free because those things done in secret will be
revealed and they have a price once revealed and that is death.
When you go into the house that folly built it looks good, smells good,
tastes good but it is a rickety old shack built of sub standard material and the
food she serves is rotten and will make your stomach sour and will bring death,
maybe not now but once revealed you will be separated from God and that is a
death I do not wish to experience again. For
the house that folly built is built by satan and the house that Wisdom built is
the house built by the Holy One, Jesus Christ.
There is a plain invitation from wisdom here and there is an invitation
from folly that is very pretty, which do you want? Wisdom cries out from the highest point in the city:
"Let all who are simple come in here!" she says to those who lack
judgment. "Come, eat my food and drink the wine I have mixed. Leave your
simple ways and you will live; walk in the way of understanding. But folly cries out from the highest seat in her house:
"Let all who are simple come in here!" she says to those who lack
judgment. "Stolen water is sweet; food eaten in secret is delicious!"
But little do they know that the dead are there, that her guests are in the
depths of the grave. So which will
you choose? The house that Wisdom
built or the house that folly built? Can’t
choose both.
