“Darkness”
For
those of us who live in the Light the darkness doesn’t understand.
Have you ever had anyone come up to you and ask you why you choose to
live the way you do and they not understand why?
They don’t get why you choose not to partake in alcohol and drugs.
They don’t understand why you don’t strive to rocket to the top of
the corporate food chain. They
don’t understand why you don’t want to have the high priced automobile.
When people are of this world then they live in darkness not able to see
the Light. They will never
understand as long as they live the way they live.
They think that going out to the club and picking up some strange is fun
and that getting high or drunk is the way to a good time but they don’t know
the Light and if they knew Him they would know that what they do is not
necessary. Sadly though many that
have seen the Light have been scared away by their own darkness and until the
darkness leaves them they will never know the True Light that lives within them.
The good news is that God put a little piece of the Light within every
one of us and we all have the opportunity to build that Light bigger and bigger
until it is a roaring fire within us and we live a different life once we have
chosen to allow the Light to shine through us.
The Light doesn’t just shine on us or in us but through us that we may
be living breathing walking examples of the Light. Does your Light shine? How
great is the Light in you?
