“I
Got It!”
Do
you remember when you finally got it? You know that point that you truly finally understood what
God has been trying to tell you. You
know that moment you finally understood that it wasn’t about you.
When you finally understood that it is about US serving God and not God
serving us? That moment when you
finally grasped that no matter what I go through in life here that Jesus went
through worse. No matter how bad it
is Jesus is with you. Well while I was meeting with my friends at Jack in the Box,
yes the homeless couple, the young man suddenly understood.
He was filled with the Holy Spirit and began to preach in the restaurant.
It was so cool. He told me
he had never felt a high like he was feeling.
I told him that the beauty of a Holy Spirit high is that when you come
back down there is no let down, hangover, or shakes.
No feeling sick and no missing days at work because you can’t get out
of bed. The other thing is that
this high is absolutely free. Not
only because it is from Jesus but because it is guilt free, pain free, disease
free, and you can share it with everyone you know FOR FREE!
He told me that he was talking to a person on the street and the guy
noticed something different about him and when he said no there isn’t any
difference and he turned and walked away. As
he walked away the Holy Spirit moved him to go back and share what was
different. OK look his name is
Bobby so Bobby went back and told the guy that yes there was something different
and the guy asked what did you get a new drug dealer got something to drink or
get high on and Bobby told him no all you need to do to find what I have is to
“look Up” and then Bobby turned and walked away. When Bobby was a block away he turned and the guy was still
standing there looking up. Bobby
planted his first seed of Truth and the next time they meet Bobby will be able
to share because he truly knows what it is that has changed him.
Please continue to pray for Bobby and Gayla as they work on pulling
themselves out of their homelessness. They
will need protection at this point because satan has lost two more and will
fight kicking and screaming to steal them back.
Bobby told me that the Salvation he has now is nothing like the salvation
that he got in church. The
Salvation he has now is bigger, better, stronger now that he understands.
