“Hard”
I
met a young man over the weekend that had a heart hard as stone.
His entire family had been destroyed by the church.
I don’t know the whole story but God does.
The young man doesn’t drink or do drugs he does well with everyone he
meets but he will not take that next step to Salvation.
I told him there was no amount of good works that he could do to get to
heaven and he said he knows that. He
knows everything there is to know about getting to heaven and peace and True
Love through Jesus Christ but doesn’t want it.
What was it that made this young man so hard?
His two other brothers spoke with me and a couple other of the Pastors
and accepted Jesus Christ and are ready to join up and find the Truth in
Salvation but this one young man refused. Church
took a family and turned it inside out and upside down to the point that this
one young man may never know the true peace that he could have through Jesus
Christ. When are we going to stop
playing church folks? What is the
Body of Christ anyway? What is a
Church anyway? Why is it that a
place we are supposed to find Love so many times turns us further from Him?
Jesus said to give Him your burdens.
Why do some churches lay more burden on a person?
I want you to find a mirror and look into it.
Then I want you to understand that the vision you see in the mirror IS
the Church that Jesus built. That
church you see in the mirror is the church that is LOVED beyond anything else
that is in this world that is thrown in our faces day after day.
All things will perish upon this Earth but that Church you see in the
mirror that JESUS built will live eternally.
Don’t wait any longer! Join
the Church that Jesus built! When
that church is tested by God’s fire it will stand unharmed.
