The End!

The Lord put me in Ezekiel 7 today and boy is it scary.  It speaks of the wrath that He poured out on Israel for their sin.  They constantly disobeyed the law that was given them by Moses and they were much like the people of today with their idolatry, adultery, drunkenness, witchcraft and the likes, a sexually immoral group of people that loved gold and silver and had much jewelry.  God allowed the foreigners of the time to take all their possessions as plunder, He allowed death by sword and the ones that survived the sword have plagues and famine to deal with.  But He doesn’t allow them all to die because He wants there to be a remnant that will share the times when God’s wrath came down upon these people because of their detestable things, a people to sound out the warning when the next generation starts doing the things these people did.  I also am sharing this as a warning and I am clanging the bell of alarm that the wrath of God is around the corner, just over the hill, just around the bend.  Will it be today?  I do not know the exact time when God will unleash His wrath upon the sin of this world all I know is that He is.   We must live each day as if today is the day.  Hearts and minds steady in the Word so that the world can’t take us into its pit.  Prepare our children for the day because we do not know when the day is.  Salvation is at hand!  Jesus Christ is the only Truth that will set you free!
