"Lies"
IT likes to fool us into thinking that sin is ok. He tempts us over and
over again to get us to fall. The weekends are usually when we get tempted
the most. We are not at work and our minds are bombarded with cool stuff
to do and we watch television and the commercials are so enticing and and
and... These are for the most parts lies straight from hell itself.
Anything that causes you to a fall from God's will in your life is a lie.
It could be your tongue that causes you to sin with lies and with hurtful
words. It could be your hands that break something or hurts someone you
love. Why do we fall into these things? Lust is another way that IT grabs
us and throws us into sin. Shop til you drop buying things that you do not
need. Things of the flesh. They all start out as a lie. We all have a
tendency to fall into that sin. IT makes it look so good and taste so
sweet and at the moment it probably does. But when it is all said and done
someone is hurt. Someone is neglected or something is neglected. It all
leads to loss of blessing and most of the time it leads to pain. There is
good news in all of this disobedience and lies. There is a Truth in this
that can change your life. There is a Way that you can be set free from
your sin. There is a Light in this darkness that we live in. There is a
Son that you can go to when you fall. His name is Jesus Christ. He paid
the price for your sin. He covers the lies with the truth of God's plan
for your life. He is the only one that can set you free from bondage of
fleshly desires and he will shine His Light on the lies and make them go
away. You see the dark is afraid of the Light and runs from it. The thing
is we have to seek the Light. We have to ask for the Light. We have to
knock on the door so that the door can be opened for the Light to enter.
Father forgive me of my sins. Jesus, I believe that you were born and died
on the cross for my sins. Jesus please be my Lord and Savior for all the
days of my life. I repent of all my wrong doings and seek Your face.
Father protect me from the lies set forth by the evil one. I take my
shield of Faith and raise it above my head for protection from the flaming
arrows of evil. I pray for Your guidance, Your peace, and the power of the
Holy Spirit that is promised in Your word. I claim my healing in the name
of Jesus Christ. Amen and Amen
