In
Chapter 15 we go over the Ark being brought into Jerusalem and the number of
Levites that were there to handle it. Then David sings a Psalm of thanks to the LORD.
Next we cover God’s promise to David which he is promised to always
have a descendant on the throne ruling Israel.
Then David says a prayer asking “Who am I?”
Lastly we review David’s victories and his officials.
Too bad that most of David’s successors were evil in the eyes of the
LORD and that the entire Israelite people had fallen away from God and have lost
everything for the most part. The
remnant that is Israel today could have all that back if they would just turn to
God and repent. They could see the
splendor of Solomon and the rule of David to where none of the enemies of Israel
could defeat them. It’s too bad
they don’t see this.
