I can say is WOW! These are some amazing chapters.
The LORD shows the king that He is with Elijah and when Elijah called
down fire from heaven it came. Now
Elijah had a servant named Elisha and before Elijah was taken up he asked what
he could do for his faithful servant. Well
Elisha asked to inherit double portion of his spirit.
Well Elijah told him that if he saw the chariot take him up then it meant
the LORD has done what he asked but if not then it wouldn’t happen ;

When they had crossed, Elijah said to Elisha, "Tell me, what can I do for
you before I am taken from you?"
"Let me inherit a double portion of
your spirit," Elisha replied.

"You have asked a difficult thing," Elijah said, "yet if you see
me when I am taken from you, it will be yours—otherwise not."
But
Elisha did see Elijah ascend to the heaven on the chariot of fire.
So it was so that Elisha was given double the spirit upon him that Elijah
had. Elisha used the Spirit of God that was laid upon him to do
good things for the LORD and I even see some things that are great symbols of
the Christ within these chapters see if you can find them.
