Ruth,
short book lasting lessons and meaningful dialogue for a hurting nation.
All I can say is Naomi must have been an extraordinary woman that her
daughter-in-law would want to cling to her after all the men in their lives had
died. Ruth could have gone back to her own family and given a new
husband but she chose to stay with Naomi. Ruth
herself was an extraordinary woman to dedicate herself to the preservation of
her mother-in-law. I find their
ways of doing things very interesting. They are set on keeping the family name alive within the
community. The land always stays
within the family and when the kinsman redeemer purchases the land he also gets
the widow to take as a wife. If one
kinsman redeemer can’t make the purchase then they go to the next in line and
in this case it was Boaz. So Boaz
purchased the land and also took Ruth as his wife.
Ruth was a strong woman to do what she did for Naomi and she did right in
the eyes of the LORD. She was a
woman of integrity and valor. Boaz
got himself quite a catch in Ruth.
Tune

going to be deep Biblical Truth revealed. If
you want a thinker well this one will make you think.
