The
Danites stole Micah’s idol and his self-appointed priest so he gathered some
me and went after them. Here is what they told him when he caught up with them. 25
The Danites answered, "Don't argue with us, or some hot-tempered men will
attack you, and you and your family will lose your lives."
In those days the Israelites had no king to rule over them so everyone
did as he or she pleased. There is
sin and chaos and bloodshed amongst brother Israelites.
The sexually immoral thing that was done to the Levite’s concubine was
horrendous and all of Benjamin paid the price for a few men’s wrong doing. The fact that the Levite had a concubine was sinful enough.
There was another tribe destroyed to get wives for the remaining
Benjamites and others stolen from other tribes.
This is just a mess but they had no leadership to speak of in those
times. Funny, in our world we have
leadership but the sexual immorality still goes on and nobody is paying the
price or making a stand to stop it. Or
are they? I read in the news yesterday that there are people in
leadership positions that think being gay is not immoral.
Seems to me that the entire earth is becoming a modern day Sodom and
Gomorrah. But there is hope.
I also saw a report on the revival in Brazil and Guatemala.
May God continue to move and spread throughout the world.
