The

gods, Gideon defeats the Midianites with 300 men, Zebah and Zalmuna are killed
by Gideon for killing people like him, Gideon refuses to be the leader over the
Israelites, Gideons death, and now Abimelech and his evilness.
After Gideon died Abimalech killed his 70 brothers on one stone and began
to take siege of Thebez where a woman dropped an upper millstone on his head as
he tried to set fire to a tower and cracked his skull.
He then begged his armor-bearer to kill him so they couldn’t say a
woman had killed him. Thus God repaid the wickedness
that Abimelech had done to his father by murdering his seventy brothers.
God also made the men of Shechem pay for all their wickedness. The curse
of Jotham son of Jerub-Baal came on them.
