We
begin with the list of Kings that had been defeated so far.
Moses defeated 2 and Joshua 16 but there were still more to defeat and
Joshua is getting old. Once the LORD went over the land still to be taken they went
over how the land is to be divided. I
noticed that the tribe of Judah was given a huge territory stretching from the
Salt Sea in the east to the Great Sea on it’s west. I tried to dig up a map to view this but I will have to do
that later. I will see if I can
give you some details on the square miles that this entailed and compare it to a
map of today. There were something
like 112 towns and villages set up for the tribe of Judah alone.
If I do find a map of interest I will post a link to it with this PRaP on
our web site.
