Here we go, City of Refuge , Witnesses, Going
to War, Atonement for an unsolved Murder, Marrying a Captive Woman, The Right
of The Firstborn, A Rebellious Son, Various Laws, and Marriage Violations.
This seems more like a Law review than anything else. The
marriage laws were harsh. If the girl wasn’t a virgin
when she got married and the man she married found out about it she would be
stoned to death at her fathers house. If a man is found
with another man’s wife both of them would be killed. If
a man meets a virgin that is pledged to married to another man and sleeps with
her they both are taken to the gates of the town and stoned to death.
Now we live in this try it before you buy it society and it isn’t
God’s plan for us. The instant gratification of having it
now is going to be a key part of the downfall of society. Don’t
think so? Read the Bible and then go watch the news or read
a newspaper. We have made idols of stone and precious
metals for ourselves and have fallen away from God’s true plan for our
lives. OK I need to stop now. It is just
