So many laws, so many regulations, so many
don’t do this and don’t do that, actually if you really look at these
laws, rules, and regulations they all boil down to only two. Love
the Lord your God with all you heart, mind and soul and Love your neighbor as
Christ loves the Church. But the Israelites didn’t have
Christ that paid the price for their sins so they had to follow all these
laws. These chapters cover various laws and punishment for
sins as well as rules for the priests, unacceptable sacrifices and then all
the special days that are to be kept Holy, big feasts that last for days and
how they were to be done to honor God. Very interesting
stuff, Leviticus 19:28 read it and get off me about the tattoos. You
witches out there need to read Leviticus 19:26. Even
regulations on haircuts and beard trimming in verse 27. Remember
Jesus didn’t come to abolish the laws but to fulfill them. No,
I am not trying to be legalistic because the difference is that we have Christ
that paid the price for our sin but that doesn’t mean it’s ok to do these
things. We are studying the laws right now, keep your
worldly comments to yourself. God isn’t all about rules
and regulations, there is some grace in these times as well as we will read
tomorrow.
