“PHEW, We Made It”

OK, that was fun?  Well for most it was.  I personally am glad it is over for the year and I have another full year of saving up for the next one.  Thankfully no credit card bills are going to hit my mailbox and no loans were taken out to buy anything extravagant.  I will not have to take out a home equity loan to consolidate my bills and that’s a good thing since I don’t own a home LOL.  The boys pretty much got what they wanted that was within dads budget.  Thank God for the family members that step up each year to make sure their Christmas is a memorable one.  I pray for those who lost loved ones over the holiday.  It is a tragic thing for loss of life, especially when it is something that just doesn’t seem fair.  I pray for those families that had nothing for Christmas except each other.  That in itself is a blessing and please do not lose that.  As this old year comes to a close I reflect upon the blessings and answered and unanswered prayer of this past year and I give ALL Glory to God for His work in my life and my family’s life.   Take time this week to reflect upon your prayer life and look and see where God’s hand is moving in your life.  Give Him all the thanks for His plan and His blessing in your life and your family.

God’s word never returns empty.  Never null or void.  It is always perfect and true.  Infallible in it’s context and lessons to be learned.  For He is perfect and True.  He is the Way the Truth and the Life.  Shine your Light today for someone who needs to see.

Matthew 7:7-8
"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened."
