“Feet, Feet, Feet, Who’s Washing Feet?”

John 13:12-17
12When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. "Do you understand what I have done for you?" he asked them. 13"You call me 'Teacher' and 'Lord,' and rightly so, for that is what I am. 14Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another's feet. 15I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. 16I tell you the truth, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. 17Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.
I want a blessing who needs their stinky feet washed?  No, seriously, no, really, who needs their feet washed?  DC, sorry brother I don’t have the proper safety equipment.  Just kidding I would wash even your feet.  Your little brother Zachary is getting the stankfoot too.  I will let Meggy handle your feet maybe she could do Zachary’s feet too LOL.  I have to wash his feet.  I hold my breath and dive on in.  Seriously, this is a good time of year for the ceremonial feet washing.  I think we should all have a foot or two that needs washing right about now.  None of us are too good to help out someone that serves us.  This Christmas make it a point to make a server smile.  A heartfelt thank you or a little “somethin somethin” in their stocking would be a good way to show a little foot wash.  Hey, and while your down there I could use a massage and pedicure, just kidding, no really that would be ok.  Give a gift to someone that doesn’t expect a gift from you and put John 13:12-17 on the package to show them that it is because of Christ that you do this and not because you are expecting anything in return.  It doesn’t have to be a huge thing just a nice something to say, “Hey, thanks for being you.”.  It could be something as simple as a hand shake a hug or even a smile and a thank you. “Tis’ the season for feet washing.  Fah la la la la la la la la”

Matthew 7:7-8
"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened."
