“Ten Guidelines From GOD”  Part 5 of 10

Read as if you are sitting in front of God.
5. TALK TO ME:
I want you to forget a lot of things. Forget what was making you crazy. Forget the worry and the fretting because you know I'm in control. But there's one thing I pray you never forget. Please, don't forget to talk to Me - OFTEN!  I love YOU! I want to hear your voice. I want you to include Me in on the things going on in your life. I want to hear you talk about your friends and family. Prayer is simply you having a conversation with Me. I want to be your dearest friend.

How true is that?  We get so busy in our day to day operations we tend to forget who gave us this day to day operation.  The Bible says to pray without ceasing.  What does that mean?  It means that you should never close that communication to God.  When you say amen it is a closure.  It means you’re done.  Don’t say amen until your laying your head down on your pillow at bed time.  Then you tell God thanks and amen to close your day.  Stay in contact with Him throughout the day let Him in on every little detail that is going on.  He loves you and wants you to let Him do stuff for you but if you are not in contact with Him He cannot help you out because you can’t hear His instruction.  I am so guilty of this myself.  I will get all wrapped up in what “I” am doing and lose my focus but He finds a way to kick me back over.  He will break a pencil or freeze a screen or the phone will ring and the call is from the school.  Spill my coffee or tip over my water bottle.  You know little things like that.  Prayer is so important to our survival in this world don’t forget once you get that connection don’t hang up on Him.  We looked at prayer once already this week but it is so important I am glad it came up again we can look at other prayer places in the Bible today.  Husbands pray for your wives.  Wives pray for your husbands.  Children pray for each other and for your parents.

Got Jesus?
Matthew 7:7-8
"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened."
