“First Person” Part 5

Excuse #4: 10
Moses said to the LORD, "O Lord, I have never been eloquent, neither in
the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and
tongue."
Well I know how that feels. Funny
thing is I still have that problem. There is written proof
of that. I used a word wrong in a PRaP that instead of
duplication it meant to burn up or destroy by fire. OOOOOOOO
MMMMAAANNNNN!!! Thanks mom for that one LOL. Immolate
instead of emulate, I will not make that mistake again. Dang
spell checker. But you know even though I am not the best
speaker or speller it hasn’t stopped me from doing God’s plan.
I could have been like Moses and told God:

But Moses said, "O Lord, please send someone else to do it."
I am so glad I stuck it out because I am
having a blast bringing you the messages of hope and faith in Christ.
Even when I go a little crazy sometimes the blessings are sweet.
But Moses still was questioning God’s choice and then God got angry.
It wasn’t just a simple I am mad it says:

Then the LORD's anger burned against Moses
I don’t know about you but
I do not want the LORD’s anger to “Burn” against me. Let’s
look at the whole thing:

Then the LORD's anger burned against Moses and he said, "What about your
brother, Aaron the Levite? I know he can speak well. He is already on his way
to meet you, and his heart will be glad when he sees you. 15
You shall speak to him and put words in his mouth; I will help both of you
speak and will teach you what to do. 16 He will speak
to the people for you, and it will be as if he were your mouth and as if you
were God to him. 17 But take this staff in your hand
so you can perform miraculous signs with it."
Instead of Moses getting to
do this on his own, his brother Aaron the Levite was allowed to go and help.
The account of Moses is very different then what the movie shows so be
sure to teach your children the right version. God Bless
