“BOO!”
Did I scare you? Well here
it is. Trick or Treat Night. The night
that the kids get the candy for their parents. LOL! What,
is that not what is tradition in your house? I wonder how
many Angels will be out tonight? I know there will be lots
of eeeeewwwwww and gggooooooooooo but how many little darlings will be out
there spreading good cheer and not scaring the pants off of everyone they
meet? Isn’t it fun to play make believe? How
many little doctors and nurses and cowboys and Indians and pumpkins and gators
will you see tonight? What I am getting at here is while
your out tonight roaming the streets getting your loot don’t forget to thank
God for the fun. Don’t take it and turn it into evil for
your kids. And kids do not turn it into evil for the little
ones around you that look up to you. As we walk around
tonight I will be handing out candy to the parents that says “Jesus Loves
You”. Since I am a single parent I cannot sit at the
house and hand out the candy so I will just take it with me and give it out.
Zachary was given a sheet of stickers at church Sunday and he sat down
on the floor with a bag of candy and stuck the stickers on each piece.
Let’s take a night that is normally a night of ugliness and turn it
into fun for the kids but most of all make sure that God gets all the glory.
Plant a seed for Christ!
