“Worry Wart”

That’s me!  It’s hard to not worry even when you know that God has it.  When a loved one has to travel or be away for a period of time.  The evil one loves to make us worry.  It is part of him putting us under his yoke.  Well I don’t want to be yoked with that thing, that’s for sure.  In my worry wart stage I go into prayer for the thing I am worrying about and the worry melts away.  But you know the flesh is weak and sure enough I will do it again.  Where’s my faith?  Unfortunately it is my flesh that fails miserably all the time not my Spirit.  Like Paul I do what I don’t want to do and the things I should do I don’t do.  I am well aware that the flesh thing is difficult to control.  I do believe that God allows worry at times when it is to His glory and if maybe that loved one is knowingly doing something that is not of God.  Thankfully we have a God that loves us so deeply and gives us an abundance of Mercy and Grace to go along with our fallen flesh.  So when worry happens grab your mustard seed and get on your knees to the One that can melt away our fears and bring your joy back to you.  Jesus Christ is the worry wart cure.
