“Birthday To Remember”
What did you do for your birthday?
Did it glorify God or you? I have two very special
young ladies that I know that used their birthday to do just that.
They may just see it as being another day in their life as a child of
God only wanting to serve Him but they are very special in His eyes.
One of these young ladies is old enough to hit the clubs and go party.
She made no big deal out of her birthday she sat up all night on her
computer making sure that if something happened in the ministry she loves that
there was a backup plan in place. Sounds like to me that
God was the one that got the present. She could have spent
that time hanging out with friends or going to the mall or a movie or for that
matter the local pub. But no, she spent it at home doing
stuff for her Daddy God. Now that my friends is something
to be proud of. My other little angel is in a different
country on her birthday doing a walk to raise money for starving people.
I had not even heard of this until I was told what she was doing.
Walking across Canada
to help raise money for the people of Canada
that are poor, homeless, widowed, and orphaned. Once again
sounds like to me that God got the presents. People like
these young ladies rarely receive any thanks or any press for that matter and
I wanted to take this moment to tell them thanks for being who you are in
Christ. I wanted my two little angel daughters in Christ to
know that their daddy in Christ is soooooo proud of them and how they choose
to serve God over the fleshly things of this world. Their
blessings are not of this world but they are earning eternal treasures in
heaven that can never be taken away from them. These two
young ladies are the heroes that I want my children to look up to and to learn
from. I thank God for their mighty presence in my life and
I pray they will continue in the Good fight sharing the Truth about Jesus
Christ to the world. There are two places in scripture that
I want you to PRaP and the Bible is full of passages but I want these two in
particular to ring out into your hearts.
Salt and Light
13"You are the salt of the earth. But if
the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer
good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men.
14"You are the light
of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. 15Neither do people light a
lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives
light to everyone in the house. 16In the same way, let your light shine before
men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.
Treasures in Heaven
19"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where
moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20But store up
for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and
where thieves do not break in and steal. 21For where your treasure is, there
your heart will be also.
22"The eye is the
lamp of the body. If your eyes are good, your whole body will be full of
light. 23But if your eyes are bad, your whole body will be full of darkness.
If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!
24"No one can serve
two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be
devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.

Matthew 7:7-8
"Ask and it will be given
to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who
knocks, the door will be opened."
