PRaP 9

I have been feeling like we are in that boat again. The waves are crashing over the sides and we are frantically bailing out the water. I desperately seek the face of Jesus to come and save us. With all the things going on around us it feels like our boat is going to sink. Another crack in the mast and that will be tumbling down on top of us. If we loose another slat on the boat we will surely break apart. I just know Jesus is out there making His way to our rescue. I just know that our Lord has not left us here to drown. The rain begins to fall again and the lightning and thunder begin to rumble and crash around us. The wind is swirling and the rain stings as it hits my face. We all can feel it we can all hear it. We cry out "LORD LORD Save us!", but we don't see Him and we don't hear Him. We cry out again and again, but where is He? Then when we become weak and think there is absolutely no hope there is a Light. A Light brighter then the sun. Not just a light but the Light. Not a sun but the Son walking on the water above the waves. We hear Him say: "Peace!" and immediately the rain and the wind stop. The waves calm and the water is a smooth as glass. He looks at us and says: "Oh you of little faith" Then He tells us to get out of the boat and walk with Him to shore. As we all look into His eyes and reach out our hands for Him to take us out of the boat we are all walking on water with Jesus. As the last person steps out of the boat the boat immediately falls apart and sinks to the bottom. Jesus is there in time of need and when we are at our weakest He will walk up and ask you to walk with Him on the water or in the clouds or over the mountains. Seek first the Kingdom of God.
