"Hope"
Even in this crazy sinful world in which we reside, and may I add only a
temporary thing, there is hope. There is a Light that we sometimes forget
about. Sometimes darkness has such a grip on us that we fail to look up.
We fail to see what God has given us. We fail to open our eyes to let the
Light in. A Light that shines brighter then the sun. A Light that has an
easy burden. A Light that we can go to anytime we want be it day or night.
A Light in the darkness. You have probably guessed by now that the Light I
speak of is Jesus Christ. Some of you know that I like to watch Discovery,
The History Channel, and National Geographic and they all have very
interesting programs on the life of Christ and they always try to open up
things that have not been shared with the public and sometimes is even
borderline blasphemy. The one ingredient that they all miss is that Christ
is here today. His Light shines throughout the world today. The Spirit of
God moves and grooves all day and all night. I was driving to work and I
got this picture in my mind of the many hands of God. I could see the Holy
Spirit on every car that was zooming down the highway. Protecting everyone
that was driving. It was an amazing sight to see because all of these
Spiritual Lights lead back to God. I watched as different cars were moving
at different speeds and it even seemed as if God had a smile on His face as
some of the cars were going fast. I think God likes a good race on
occasion. It reminded me of when I used to sit in the dirt and play with
my Matchbox cars. I had control over the cars and where they were going
and if they crashed or not. Big difference is that I could only control
two cars affectively. But God was controlling them all. The feeling I got
while this was going on was so peaceful. God allowed me to see His
omnipotence on the highway. It was amazing to say the least. Hope! At
the end of each PRaP there is a Bible verse from Matthew 7 and it fits
todays PRaP. Ask, Seek, Knock and the door will be opened. Ask God to
show you His Hope for the world. His name is Jesus Christ. Shine your
Light today.
