"The Big Finally"

Well God created all the animals and man on the 5th and 6th days. You know
going through these passages with you have built images of God's
perfection. His desire to have us as His servants. All knowing, all
seeing. His plan put into action. I took a blade of grass once and began
to analyze it. I started at the top if the blade and went down to the
bottom. It tore perfectly down the center. strands, hundreds of strands
all gathered together to make a blade of grass. The color, the smell and
the texture was all planned out by God. He knows how many blades of grass
there are too. He knows every hair on your head. He knows everything that
has happened and that is going to happen in your life. He has control over
all of it. nothing is done to you or allowed to happen to you without His
knowledge of it. We get so wrapped up in our stuff and so wrapped up in
our problems that we lose sight of who this is all about. God does what He
does and allows what He allows for His own glory. Free will is not an
accident. That illness is not an accident. That raise is not an accident.
The birth of a child is no accident. The death of a child is no accident.
All of these things have to pass by the Father before they can happen to
us. There is a reason for all things. If it is in God's will it will come
to pass. Do not be a legalist. Do not think that you can do anything to
earn your way into heaven. Do not think that you can be good enough, rich
enough, caring enough, to get into heaven. For it is written. The only
way to the Father is through the Son. When God put this world into motion
He knew we would fall into sin. So in His infinite wisdom He put into
place a system of redemption. It is called Grace. His name is Jesus
Christ. This is not a coincidence that you received this message today.
For we all fall short of the glory of God without the Son in our lives. As
the blade of grass is held together by each strand and each blade of grass
has roots that live together planted in the soil we too are planted this
way. All interconnected in some way. Think about it!
