"Crutch"


I have heard nonbelievers say that I just use Jesus as a crutch, so I do
not have to deal with reality. I got news for them and this is my response
to them. Jesus is more then a crutch. He is my wheelchair, my gurney, my
stretcher. See I can do nothing without Him. The very breath I take is
because of what He has done. My job, my children, my house, my everything
depends on Christ being there. As a matter of fact there would be
absolutely nothing without Him. Because of our sin the world would not
even exist as we know it. The price for sin is death and without Jesus
none of us would even be alive. We as humans fail miserably at being sin
free. The beauty of all this is that God knew before hand that we would
fail. So He sent His one and only Son to pay the price for us. And it's
ok for people to say what they say because God gave us free will. That is
all a part of His plan. But there will come a time and real soon that
those who do not believe will pay the price for their sin. You see because
they do not believe Jesus to be their Lord and Savior they will be
eternally separated from Him. God chooses who He chooses to bless. I am
so glad that He chose me. Did He choose you? For those of us in Christ,
we are co heirs to the throne. We are sons and daughters of God.
