"Spiritual Rape"

No this is not a sexual rape. This is something that lasts an eternity if
not stopped. As Christians we love. We love as friends and we love as
mates equally yoked in the Spirit. But sometimes that love becomes more
then that. Sometimes that love become an obsession, sometimes it becomes
sinful. In past PRaP s I have spoken of those people who make their money
using scripture to lie to you about how your going to be rich. There are
others who bewitch us at times to sin. There are some that we love so much
that we follow everything that they want us to follow. We do everything
they tell us to do. No matter what it is! An example of this: A
Christian woman married to a non Christian man. She loves him dearly but
he keeps having her do things that are immoral. Things that are illegal
and she begins to feel dirty once she has done them. There are no amount
of soap and water that can clean her during these times. This my friends
is one form of Spiritual Rape. Watch my brothers and sisters for signs of
this. It may be someone that always comes to you and asks you to pray for
them yet is not willing to tell you for what. People, only Jesus Christ
can set you free from this. Christians have the power given to us from God
to defeat this kind of rape. You must stand up and say enough is enough
and you won't stand for it anymore. Those of us who feel as though someone
we know is going through this we are called to step up and wash their feet.
We are to lovingly take them and walk them to the Cross so that they can be
set free from this. They sometimes do not see clearly what is happening to
them and they are slowly being pulled into sin. IT has a tendency to wrap
things up in a pretty bow but when you unwrap the package it can be bitter
and ugly and painful. CCM we are called to take our candle into the
darkness. Seek out the lost and the torn. This is another way that IT is
killing, stealing, and destroying our brothers and sisters that are not
quite on the right path. Hold up your candles and light the path so they
may see where they are headed. Do not be afraid to pull out the bowl of
water and sit with your brother or sister and wash their feet.
