"The God of All Comfort"

From 2 Corinthians 1:3-7 "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord
Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who
comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any
trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as
the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ
our comfort overflows. If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and
salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in
you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. And our hope for
you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so
also you share in our comfort." I have a question for you. Is this
happening in your life? As you receive the comfort from God in your
sufferings do you allow it to overflow in someone else's sufferings? Do
you suffer for someone else's salvation? The world is full of suffering.
What that means also is that the world is full of God's comfort. But it
takes those of us who know and receive God's comfort to take the overflow
that He gives to us and spread it to the lost and the suffering of the
world that do not know Him as we do. In doing this we can stop the
suffering and begin the healing. We can step into the darkness with our
Light and shine so that others can receive the comfort that only God can
give.
