"A Cedar"

I read Ezekiel 31 this morning and I see things of today happening within
these passages. This can be related to large companies and even our own
country. The Pharaoh that is being spoken of in these passages had decided
he was bigger and better then God. He had built up the land and had many
people under him and many animals and a great army. He figured that his
kingdom he had built for himself was even greater then Eden which is God's
garden. So the passages compare this pharaoh to a huge Cedar tree that
grew and grew larger and larger. It was fed by a deep spring under ground.
It grew higher then all the trees in the garden of God. It grew broad and
high and strong. It states in the scripture that all the birds of the air
lived within its branches and all the animals gave birth at its base and
all the cities lived within its shadow. There are companies that I can
think of that are similar to what I have described here. Do any come to
mind? Well let's continue. God sent in His own army to cut down this
cedar. It states in these scriptures that they cut it and sent it to its
grave. The birds now perch on its fallen branches and the animals no
longer bear their young there and the cities no longer are shadowed by it.
Do you see what is coming for these countries, companies, people that think
that they are better then God and can offer up more then that of our
Almighty God? Cedars of Lebanon beware that judgement will one day be on
you and where will you go for your comfort? We need to pray for those who
are in the shadows of these places and that includes us here in the U.S..
See the signs, open your eyes and know that God is at the doorway. History
repeats itself!
