"Calling"

What does that mean? In the literal since it means to call someone. In
the spiritual since it is God touching you, telling you He has something
for you to do to glorify His name. He will put people in your path that
need help and out of nowhere you start quoting scriptures and sound ways to
help the people that God puts in front of you. This is an anointing or a
raima. As in all things you need to test the spirit. If this happens over
and over again I would say you have a true calling. Be sure to talk to
trusted Christian friends or talk to a Pastor or 2 or 3 to see what they
think God is telling you. This calling is not limited to men. Women you
to will be called to service by God. A man cannot deal effectively with
women issues so I feel that God calls women to be in leadership and to be
Pastors as well. A calling is not limited to being a Pastor or a church
leader it can be a calling to serve in a hospital as a volunteer or in a
prison as a volunteer. There is a great need for women to minister in
women's prisons. God has called me to preach the Gospel and to do the
radio programs and to be the tool to write these devotions. There are so
many opportunities out there. God calls us all to do something for Him
somewhere. If you haven't found it yet or He hasn't revealed it to you,
don't worry He will. You continue to seek His guidance and you continue to
ask what it is He wants you to do. There may be some trials in your life
that have not passed yet and He is waiting for you to pass through those
trials before He puts you to work. Maybe God has more education that He
want's you to have before you continue. Only He knows and only He will
reveal these things to you. And remember most of all it will be in His
time that these things come to pass.
