"Water From The Temple"
Ezekiel 47 has a very detailed description of the Living Water of God
flowing from the Temple of God. Utilizing the cubit measurement there are
very specific water depths, from ankle deep then to knee deep and then to
waist deep and then to very deep, it is written it was deep enough to swim
in. It is also stated the river empties into the great sea. At that point
of where the river emptied into the sea it would be full of fish and swarms
of living creatures. The fishermen would line the banks and on each side
of the banks would be fruit trees that would yield their fruit every month
and the leaves of these trees would be used for healing. Why would we need
trees for healing in heaven? Sounds like to me that maybe heaven is going
to be much like where we live now only we will not have any worries about
food shelter. Sounds like there may still be a possibility of receiving
injury or even the common cold but the leaves of these fruit trees will
have what we need for healing. I wonder if it will be instantaneous
healing or if we will have to wait for a time. My guess would be that it
is instant. Once we reach heaven our final destination that God wants us
to not feel any pain or sorrow so the healing properties of the fruit trees
will be immediate and complete healing of whatever ails ya. See what God
puts on your heart about this vivid description of the water from the
temple. I don't know about you but I am ready to drink from the cool
springs of the Living water of God. I look forward to the day that I will
be able to rest from my labor and not have to worry about anything anymore.
I look forward to the day that all I need to do is go to the tree and pick
my share of the fruit and to catch fish from the sea. I like fishing, and
to know that no matter what you will catch fish. I look forward to when we
will only see by the Light of God's glory and no longer have to worry about
being burned by the sun. I look forward to the day that my job will be
only what God wants me to do to glorify Him. To be in His presence to
listen and learn right there with Him. Sitting with Jesus on the bank of
the river listening and talking, joking and laughing in the peace that is
God's glory.
