"Begging for dollars aka Begging for Bucks"

I get so sick of all the organizations that beg for dollars. Don't get me
wrong there are some just causes that we need to support. I get emails
daily from several groups that are always needing money because they are
short this month. They have jumped into a project that was not of God and
the money wasn't actually there yet they moved ahead with their project
without the resources in hand. They moved ahead with a promise from a man
to meet his obligation. I am sorry but men fail. Psalm 118:8 It is
better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man. Here's the deal, if
your ministry is of God and in God's will and God makes the rules for your
ministry then God writes the checks for your ministry and it is actually
God's ministry and not yours. If these things are true then your ministry
will not be in need. You will not have to beg for bucks. God will put it
on the hearts of the people to support your ministry. You just keep on
working for God and God will provide what is needed to support your cause
and if you take advantage and misuse what God has provided He will
assuredly remove your blessing for your ministry. If your ministry is
struggling financially then you need to question your focus. Is it on God?
Does God set the path for your ministry or do you? Review your books and
see if the money was used to glorify God or to line your wallet or someone
else's wallet. When God's ministry grows in His plan the finances will
grow right along with it. If your ministry has grown and the finances
haven't then you need to go back and rethink your budget. Maybe that
growth was not of God. Maybe satan knows that if you grow really fast you
will kill your budget and have to close your doors. If that happens and it
does, God is not glorified. We have had to stall the growth of the
Internet ministry at times because it was growing faster then our resources
would allow. We do not like to turn people away but if your resources are
not there then it is a big possibility that the growth is not of God or
God's plan. If you are in need of a building you create a building fund
and you do not get the building until the building fund is enough to pay
cash for the building. You do not get a loan and pay interest for it. If
you need air time on TV or radio then you plan out the annual cost of it
and until you get all the money you need for that year you do not go on the
air or sign any contract. When you do those things they are destined to
failure because God doesn't want you to borrow money to build His kingdom.
God's kingdom is eternal and not for rent or lease. Do you think God is
going to charge you rent when you get to heaven? Is there a way to borrow
enough money to pay for your eternity? Think about it!
